30 Days to Feel Closer Each Day
For couples who still love each other, but miss feeling close.

You talk about the kids, work and what’s for dinner. You organise the week, get things done and sit down at the end of another busy day.

But somewhere along the way, you’ve stopped talking about you.

How you’re feeling. What you miss. What’s worrying you. What you wish the other person understood.

Perhaps you’re on separate ends of the sofa, both on your phones. Affection has become a quick kiss on the way out. You keep meaning to spend more time together, but another week passes and nothing really changes.

Or you do try to talk, but it comes out as criticism, gets taken the wrong way or ends with one of you going quiet.

This 30 day email journey gives you a gentle place to start together.

Created by Naomi Jordan and Martin Pemberton, it helps you explore what happens between you in ordinary, everyday moments and practise responding differently.

Each day, you receive an email with something to understand, talk about or try together.
The emails follow a sequence, starting gently and building towards conversations you may have been putting off.

You’ll explore how to:
  • Notice each other beyond the jobs you do and the responsibilities you share.
  • Understand why a small comment can turn into a much bigger argument.
  • Say what you mean without expecting your partner to guess.
  • Listen when your first reaction is to explain or defend yourself.
  • Talk about affection, intimacy and boundaries with more understanding.
  • Find your way back to each other after a difficult moment.
The value is in what you do with each email: a conversation you usually avoid, a question you haven’t asked for a while or a small change in how you respond.

You might discover that what sounds like nagging is someone trying to say, “I feel alone in this.” Or that going quiet doesn’t always mean someone doesn’t care, they may be struggling to find the words. Understanding that gives you something different to work with.

How it works: You receive one email a day for 30 days. Read it together, or read it separately and come back to it when you both have space.

You work through it privately, in your own time. No group sharing or scheduled sessions. You can return to an email and spend longer with a conversation that matters to you.

Both of you being willing to take part matters. You each get the chance to look at how you show up, hear the other person and try something different.

You don’t have to wait until things feel unbearable to give your relationship some attention.
You can begin with, “I miss us.”
