Relationship Support for Couples, Women and Men

Still having the same arguments?
Feeling more like housemates?
Or tired of holding everything together?

We’re Naomi Jordan and Martin Pemberton. We help you understand what’s happening and start changing it, with private support in Worcestershire and online across the UK and Worldwide.

30 Days to Feel Closer Each Day
For couples who still love each other, but miss feeling close.

You talk about the kids, work and what’s for dinner. You organise the week, get things done and sit down at the end of another busy day.

But somewhere along the way, you’ve stopped talking about you.

How you’re feeling. What you miss. What’s worrying you. What you wish the other person understood.

Perhaps you’re on separate ends of the sofa, both on your phones. Affection has become a quick kiss on the way out. You keep meaning to spend more time together, but another week passes and nothing really changes.

Or you do try to talk, but it comes out as criticism, gets taken the wrong way or ends with one of you going quiet.

This 30 day email journey gives you a gentle place to start together.

Created by Naomi Jordan and Martin Pemberton, it helps you explore what happens between you in ordinary, everyday moments and practise responding differently.

Each day, you receive an email with something to understand, talk about or try together.
The emails follow a sequence, starting gently and building towards conversations you may have been putting off.

You’ll explore how to:
  • Notice each other beyond the jobs you do and the responsibilities you share.
  • Understand why a small comment can turn into a much bigger argument.
  • Say what you mean without expecting your partner to guess.
  • Listen when your first reaction is to explain or defend yourself.
  • Talk about affection, intimacy and boundaries with more understanding.
  • Find your way back to each other after a difficult moment.
The value is in what you do with each email: a conversation you usually avoid, a question you haven’t asked for a while or a small change in how you respond.

You might discover that what sounds like nagging is someone trying to say, “I feel alone in this.” Or that going quiet doesn’t always mean someone doesn’t care, they may be struggling to find the words. Understanding that gives you something different to work with.

How it works: You receive one email a day for 30 days. Read it together, or read it separately and come back to it when you both have space.

You work through it privately, in your own time. No group sharing or scheduled sessions. You can return to an email and spend longer with a conversation that matters to you.

Both of you being willing to take part matters. You each get the chance to look at how you show up, hear the other person and try something different.

You don’t have to wait until things feel unbearable to give your relationship some attention.
You can begin with, “I miss us.”
£39 per couple.
One email a day for 30 days.
30 Day Email Journey
The Space Between® Couples Programme.
You love each other. But you’re tired of ending up here.

The same arguments. The distance afterwards. One of you trying to talk while the other shuts down. Or keeping quiet because you can’t face another evening going wrong.

Our 12 week programme gives you time and support to understand what’s happening between you and practise doing things differently.

You work with both Naomi and Martin in every session. We listen to both of you, help you see what you each bring into difficult moments and explore the feelings, assumptions and reactions that keep pulling you apart.

We don’t stop at explaining why it happens. We help you put that understanding into everyday life: saying something difficult, hearing each other without immediately defending yourselves, respecting boundaries and finding your way back after an argument.

What’s included:
  • Six private sessions over 12 weeks, usually fortnightly.
  • 90–120 minutes per session, with both Naomi and Martin.
  • Messaging support between sessions, so you can ask for guidance when something comes up.
  • Written materials to help you put the work into practice.
  • A signed copy of our relationship book.
Sessions are available in person in Chaddesley Corbett, Worcestershire, or online.

This programme is for couples where both people are willing to explore the relationship and take responsibility for how they show up. You don’t have to arrive knowing what to say. You can begin with, “We keep getting stuck, and we want help.”

The cost is per couple:

£1,200 paid in full
or three payments of £400
or four payments of £300

The Space Between Us: Sex, Intimacy and the Conversations Couples Avoid

Most relationship books focus on communication techniques, conflict tips or ways to “fix” your partner, but The Space Between Us: Sex, Intimacy and the Conversations Couples Avoid explores something much deeper. This book helps couples understand what is really happening underneath the arguments, distance, tension and emotional disconnection that so many relationships quietly experience. Through honest insight, relatable relationship dynamics and powerful emotional understanding, Naomi Jordan and Martin Pemberton explore how emotional safety, unspoken fears, protection patterns and unresolved reactions shape the space between two people long before the words even arrive. This is not about blame, perfection or pretending. It is about helping couples finally feel seen, understood and connected again.

The Space Between® with Naomi Jordan and Martin Pemberton We joined Jennifer Rose on The Love Show to talk about The Space Between®, our work with couples, and what really happens in relationships before the words even land. This conversation explores emotional safety, connection, relationship patterns, communication, intimacy and how couples can begin to understand what is happening between them in a deeper way.

We help people see the pattern underneath the problem.

We are Naomi Jordan and Martin Pemberton, founders of Just 1 to 11 It Coaching and creators of The Space Between®.

Our work is rooted in pattern recognition, emotional safety, practical change and the belief that most people are not broken because they struggle.

They are often running old patterns that once made sense, but now keep them stuck. We work with couples, women and men who are ready to understand what is really happening underneath their reactions, relationships and inner world.

Not so they can judge themselves but so they can finally begin to change what keeps repeating.

Real people. Real patterns. Real change.

Not sure where to start? That’s completely okay. You do not need to know exactly what support you need before you message us. You do not need to explain everything perfectly. You do not need to have the right words. You may simply know that something needs to change. Your relationship. Your confidence. Your overthinking. Your pressure. Your family atmosphere. Your connection with yourself. The way the same pattern keeps repeating. That is enough of a reason to reach out.

Terms and Conditions

By booking and making payment for The Space Between® Couples Programme, both participants confirm that they have read, understood and agreed to these terms.

1. Programme and payment

The total cost of the programme is £1,200.

Any outstanding instalments remain payable according to the agreed payment schedule, even if either participant chooses not to complete the programme.
A refund will only be provided if Just 1 to 11 It Coaching withdraws the programme and is unable to provide the remaining service. Any refund will reflect the portion of the programme that has not been delivered.
Nothing in these terms affects your statutory consumer rights.

4. Sessions and participation

Both participants are responsible for attending the agreed sessions and completing any work offered between them.
Missed sessions, late cancellations or a decision by one participant not to attend do not create an entitlement to a refund or reduction in the programme fee.
Sessions may be rearranged at our discretion where reasonable notice is provided and alternative availability exists.

5. Suitability and safety

The programme provides relationship and human behaviour support. It is not a crisis service, medical treatment or a substitute for specialist mental-health, domestic-abuse or emergency support.
We may pause or end the programme if we believe it is unsafe, inappropriate or outside our professional scope. If we withdraw the programme, the refund arrangements in section 3 will apply, except where termination results from threatening, abusive or seriously inappropriate behaviour by a participant.

Information shared during the programme will be treated as confidential, subject to legal requirements and safeguarding concerns.
Because this is couples work, information disclosed individually may be relevant to the joint work. We cannot agree to hold information that materially affects the relationship, the safety of either participant or the integrity of the programme as a permanent secret from the other participant.
